Past Lab Members

Connie Cecil

Connie was the first official member of the lab and was crucial to getting the lab up and running. She obtained her BS and MS in STEM at Montana State University. Connie is looking to pursue her PhD in the future.

Caroline Toler

Caroline was an American Heart Association sponsored undergraduate who worked in the lab during the summer of 2024. Caroline presented her research at the annual AHA BCVS conference and had the highest scoring abstract of the AHA sponsored undergrads. She is currently pursuing her BS in a Pre-Health track and is expecting to graduate in 2027.

Ryan Gaspar

Ryan was a research undergraduate working with Dr. Gibb during his postdoctoral training. He graduated from Temple University with his BS in 2023 and was the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award. Ryan is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tori Ploesch

Tori was a research undergraduate working with Dr. Gibb during his postdoctoral training. She graduated from Temple University with her BS in 2023 and is currently applying to Physician Assistant Programs.

Anh Huynh

Anh was a research undergraduate working with Dr. Gibb during his postdoctoral training. After graduating from Temple University in 2020, Anh went on to obtain her PharmD and MSPs from Mercer University and is currently a translational science fellow at Daaichi Sankyo, Inc.
